Weekly Watercolour Classes
Courageous Watercolour Classes with Eleanor Lowden Pidgeon
Come and join us for a morning of fun and enjoyable painting. In this class we will be exploring the use of colour, in figurative as well as landscape paintings.
Acrylic painters are welcome to join in – the class is not only an opportunity to learn new watercolour techniques, but also to discover a looser painting style, and a more vibrant palette.
We will discuss aspects of composition as well as what makes a painting ‘work’.
Classes beginning Sept 30 through December 16th, and will run for a total of 12 Thursdays from 9:30 to 12:30. Afternoons are drop in – 1:00 until 4.
The classes will be $180 for 4 sessions, payable in 4 session increments. If you are not able to attend 4 consecutive sessions, then arrangements can be made to attend them at your convenience.
The afternoon sessions are ‘open studio’ – bring whatever you are currently working on, and I will be there to guide you. I do not have a lesson plan for the afternoon session, but find that once you are there for the morning, it is often enjoyable to continue painting through the day. Bring a lunch.
